Both ends held, hands driving in three dimensions. The infinity shape
is direct drive at f plus parametric swing pumping at 2f.
Find the cheapest coherent rotation: that is the ropeflower's problem.

The ropeflower's question. Watch force N and rev/s together:
a nice rotation at minimum force. The f₀ chip is the swing mode of
the hanging U, computed from the catenary between your hands. Try the
infinity at f₀, then the same 8 reversed: the parametric pump at 2f
flips phase and the cost changes. Amber is taut, gray-blue is slack.
Recorded imu drives the hands with paths reconstructed from the
M5Stack handles (imu_to_path.py; the band-pass is the stay-in-a-ball
prior). In that mode frequency is playback speed and size is path scale,
and reverse plays the take backwards.
Arm program moves the hands on a flow surface: a bulging
cylinder whose axis points left to right, so every circle lies in a
sagittal plane and the rope keeps turning the same way; crossing
slides the circle along the axis through the bulge. Frequency is the
turn rate. Arms follow by IK, so the elbow opening in a crossing is
emergent from reach. Hand phase lags the left hand behind the
right along the same program: 180° is the half-turn handover lag
of real matadors, so one hand always carries the circle while the
other crosses. Torque N·m is the shoulder cost of the rope:
the honest price of a move. Rope trail shows the ribbon the
whole rope sweeps: the empirical flow surface. Air flow is a
one-way entrainment sketch of the wake (tracers relaxing toward local
rope velocity), a cartoon of the air, not a Navier-Stokes solve.
